A new extension request experience

You can now review new price details and remaining ALE when you are extending a stay.

What’s the same

When your insured’s departure date is approaching, you will receive an email asking if there’s a need to extend the stay. If so, you can simply click on the link to indicate the new departure date.

What’s changed

When you’re requesting for an extension, you will now see a price summary of your insured’s stay, along with an ALE tracker. You can edit/enter your ALE information based on your file details.
As you enter a new departure date, we’ll calculate the new price and remaining ALE in real time. Note that these are just estimated values, as your actual expenses may vary. You won’t be charged until the host approves the extension request.
