CIP Society Events

The CIP Society is hosting two exciting events for insurance professionals in the Greater Toronto Area. A premier industry event, “Symposium 2023: Leading Change,” will take place on April 19, 2023, at the Arcadian Loft in Toronto. Featuring inspiring keynote speakers, seminars, and an unscripted discussion session, this year’s symposium will cover topics such as catastrophe reinsurance, climate change, and the evolving workforce.

The Future of Insurance Canada

The Future of Insurance Canada 2023 conference is a premier event dedicated to discussing and addressing issues facing the insurance industry in Canada. The conference will be held on November 15–16, 2023, at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. The conference will focus on various topics, including product development, the impact of artificial intelligence on insurance companies, and claims and business efficiencies. The conference will bring together senior executives and professionals from across the insurance value chain to discuss strategies and opportunities to enhance the industry’s performance and innovation. The National Insurance Conference of Canada

Taking place in neighbouring Quebec, the National Insurance Conference of Canada (NICC) is a national-level conference designed for insurance and reinsurance executives, brokers, regulators, risk managers, and industry partners. With over 500 industry leaders in attendance, the conference offers a unique opportunity for participants to share their knowledge and perspectives. Talks address the complex, varied issues facing leaders of the Canadian property and casualty insurance sector. The 15th annual NICC will be held in Montreal on September 26–28, 2023.

The Women in Insurance Summit Canada

The Women in Insurance Summit Canada will take place in Toronto at the Carlu on June 22, 2023. The title of this year’s summit is “Women Leading the Way — Building Gender Equity in Insurance.” The summit is focused on empowering women and allies in the insurance industry and developing the next generation of leaders. The event will bring together professionals in the industry to connect, share ideas, and explore critical challenges and hot topics facing women in insurance. With a packed agenda, influential speakers, and ample networking opportunities, the Women in Insurance Summit Canada aims to inspire and empower the industry to make positive changes and strive towards gender equality. Specialty Insurance Summit
