Reviews on stays

Reviews are important to help hosts improve, but also to help disaster victims have confidence when choosing a host. We encourage you to use them.

Understanding reviews

Each review has a rating out of 5 stars and may include a comment. Hosts can make comments public or private.

Good to know

Some reviews may come from tourist accommodation platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo. This allows you to see past experiences with these hosts on these platforms.

Where to find reviews

To see the reviews for a specific host, go to the host’s profile. You can find the profile by clicking their name in the accommodation ad.

Leaving a review

After leaving your accommodation, you’ll receive an e-mail to provide a review about your stay. To leave a review:

  1. Click the link in the e-mail. A tab will open in your browser.
  2. Select the number of stars to rate your stay. You can give a maximum of 5 stars and a minimum of 1 star.
  3. If you want, you can also leave a comment. Make sure it is relevant and objective, since you cannot edit it after.

Comments that do not respect our content policy will be removed.

What do I do if my notice is removed?

If you want to dispute the removal of your review, contact your Sinistar agent.
